PARC Training course on Health risk assessment of chemicals – principles and applications

November 18th – 22nd, 2024, Stockholm, Sweden

Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet in collaboration with PARC, Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals, offers the following course in autumn 2024: Health risk assessment of chemicals – principles and applications, November 18-22, 2024

The course will be given at Karolinska Institutet, Campus Solna, Stockholm, Sweden as an in-person course only. On-line participation will not be possible. The course starts at 13.00 on November 18 and ends at 11.30 on November 22.

The training course is addressed to PhD students and researchers, as well as participants from authorities who benefit from understanding the principles and applications of health risk assessment of chemicals for their work in PARC or for other research or risk assessment activities.
This course is open for both PARC members and non-members, although priority will be given to PARC members. There are no registration fees; however, participants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation, and any other incidental expenses.

EFSA's Nutrition and Food Innovation Unit has launched a public consultation on its draft scientific opinion on the Tolerable Upper Intake Level for vitamin E. This document re-evaluates the safety of vitamin E (α-tocopherol) and provides revised Upper Intake Levels (ULs).
